Enhances Vital Growth Hormone
The most important longevity factor in your body is human growth hormone (hGH), which affects almost all aspects of your health. Unfortunately, however, it declines as you age. To make up the
deficit, scientists began studying various forms of hGH. Their success led several companies to offer hGH pills, tablets and capsules, but, despite their good intentions, such alternatives were doomed to fail because the human
digestive system breaks down almost 75% of the hGH from these sources before it can enter the bloodstream. Now there’s HGH Activator, a revolutionary oral spray that features Excel Activator, a unique innovation that sends a “rejuvenation
signal” straight to your body’s hGH production sites. Let HGH Activator put your hGH to work for you.

Omega-6 Fatty Acids are one of the two types of essential fatty acids we need to consume to stay healthy. Omega-6 fatty acids belong to a group of “good fats” called Polyunsaturated fats and can be beneficial to your health. Unfortunately, these “good fats” cannot be produced by the body. The most beneficial Omega-6 fatty acids are ones that contains linoleic acid, which converts to gamma linoleic acid (GLA). GLA eventually turns into hormone-like molecules to regulate inflammation and blood pressure as well as heart, gastrointestinal, and kidney functions. Some good Omega-6 fatty acid food sources include cereals, eggs, poultry, most vegetable oils, whole-grain breads, baked goods and margarine. Mediterranean diets are best to follow because they consume generous amounts of whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, olive oil and garlic and they consume minimal amounts of meat, which is extremely high in Omega-6 fatty acids.
Nutritionists have found out that in order to get the maximum benefits from both Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, you must consume a balance of the two. Unfortunately, most of our diets are heavy in Omega-6 and lack in the Omega-3 fatty acids. Consuming an excess of Omega-6 fatty acids can result in increased water retention, raised blood pressure and the increased risk of blood clotting. The ideal ratio of Omega-6 versus Omega-3 fatty acids should be 3:1 (three Omega-6 to one Omega-3 fatty acids). The imbalance of essential fatty acids contributes too many long-term diseases, including heart disease, cancer, asthma, arthritis and depression. The average American diet provides more than 10 times the necessary amount of Omega-6 fatty acids and almost no Omega-3 fatty acids. Most of our diets consist of processed foods and cooking oils which break down when heated.
If you are to consume any supplements, it is important to discuss first with your physician. Dietary supplements can interfere with certain medications. People with seizure disorders should avoid any supplements containing
Omega-6 or Omega-3 fatty acids. Pregnant women should avoid consumption of Borage seed oil and other sources of gamma-linoleic acid because they may cause harm to the fetus and induce early labor.
Some dietary tips on
how to boost your intake of Omega-3 fatty acids to make your consumption of essential fatty acids more complete:

Hair Loss – affecting millions worldwide…
Millions of the people worldwide suffer from hair loss and this is the reason why hair loss remedies are a billion dollar industry. The answer to the million-dollar
question of how to get hair back is to know how you lost it in the first place. You can determine the correct remedy for hair loss only after you know the exact cause of hair loss.
Your hair keeps regenerating, shedding and growing, unlike the eyes or nose. As you grow older, everyone begins to experience hair loss. Hair loss is a natural process of aging that starts when you turn 50. However, for some people the hair loss process starts much earlier. About 90 percent of the hair on your scalp is growing at any one time while the other 10 percent of the hair is in a resting phase. After 2 to 3 months, the resting hair falls out and new hair starts to grow in its place. This growing phase lasts for 2 to 6 years. Each hair grows approximately 1 centimeter per month during this phase. It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of this cycle. However, some people may experience excessive (more than normal) hair loss. Hair loss of this type can affect anyone, even children.
Stress and Lifestyle The fast and pressurized lifestyles of today make many compromises on your diet. Poor diet can contribute to hair loss. Emotional upheavals can cause health complications that have an adverse impact
on the quality of your hair and thus increase hair loss. Lack of cleanliness of the scalp and excessive dandruff problems can also cause hair loss.
Hormonal imbalances
Hair growth and health depends on hormones
such as thyroid and pituitary glands. Any disorders in these glands can cause hair loss. The excessive presence of a component of the male hormone - DHT can also cause hair loss. This is usually due to a genetic predisposition
for hair loss.
Genetic factors
Inherited causes of hair loss affect the unlucky that have a family history of premature balding. In men, it is called Male Pattern Baldness, in which the hair loss starts receding first at the
temples in a classic 'M' shape. In women, it is called Female Pattern Baldness. This is a less common hair loss pattern. It starts at age 30 and is characterized by overall thinning of hair.
Hair loss Side effects from certain medications
Certain drugs taken for other purposes can cause hair loss as a side effect. The following is a possible list of medicines and drugs that could cause hair loss.
However, not all prescription drugs under these categories have hair loss as a side effect. This has to be checked with the doctor.
Can improper care of my hair cause hair loss?Get Your Hormones Checked
Problems with hormones such as thyroid and pituitary can cause hair loss. Consult your doctor to conduct relevant tests and rule out this possibility. If a hormonal imbalance were the reason
for hair loss, the doctor would recommend a course of appropriate drugs to solve the problem.
Anti-Androgenic Therapy
Excessive amount of DHT (a component of the male hormone) causes hair loss and baldness. If DHT were the problem and causing hair loss, the doctor would put you on drugs that form a part of
antiandrogen therapy. In women, the treatment is called CPA (cyproterone acetate) with ethinyl-estradiol. The therapy typically lasts for a period of one year.
Some Wonder Drugs
Over the years, researchers have invented certain drugs that work very successfully for hair loss. This includes minoxidil (Rogaine) and finasteride. However, finasteride is not for good for hair
loss among women.
Keep the Scalp Clean
Clean the scalp of dirt, dandruff and excess oil can help prevent hair loss
Hair Transplant
Hair transplant is a surgical method to treat hair loss. It involves operations that extract parts of the scalp from the sides and back of the head where the hair grows well. It is then implanted
on those regions of the head that are going bald.
Hair Weaving
Hair weaving is not a surgical method for hair loss. This cosmetic procedure attaches extensions of natural or synthetic hair.
Tissue Expansion
In this procedure, silicone bags are inserted beneath hair- bearing skin to expand the tissues. This is then transferred to the areas with a hair loss or baldness.
Other hair loss Solutions
Some other solutions camouflage the hair loss or baldness problem. These include using wigs or toupees and getting a smart haircut to hide thinning hair or bald patches. For this process,
you need the services of a skilled barber.
Rogaine, hair loss supplements
Medicines may help slow or prevent the development of common baldness. One medicine, minoxidil (brand name: Rogaine), is available without a prescription. It is applied to the scalp.
Both men and women are able to use it. Another medicine, finasteride (brand name: Propecia) or dutasteride (brand name: Avodart) is available with a prescription. It comes in pills and is only for men. It may take up to
6 months before you can tell if one of these medicines is working.

Everyone has heard that it is important to eat fruits and vegetables every single day. Some of us do follow our doctor’s advice and eat the minimum recommended daily servings. There is some data to suggest that consuming increased amounts can provide even greater health benefits. However, be very careful! Too much of anything is usually not a good thing.
The value of fruits and vegetables goes beyond that of the vitamins and minerals they contain. The discovery of a class of micronutrients (phytonutrients) is largely why major health agencies recommend a minimum of five different fruits and vegetables daily. Phytonutrients are not essential for life, but they appear to be essential for OPTIMAL HEALTH and LONGEVITY. The Chicago Center for Anti-Aging strongly recommends the daily use of phytonutrients but not at supranormal dosages.
Phytochemicals are compounds that exist naturally in plants to protect them from the sunlight and affect human beings and other mammals in a number of beneficial ways. The more Phytochemicals you add to your diet, the greater the degree of health protection you can enjoy. People who eat large quantities of fruits and vegetables help reduced risks of all kinds of cancer. A regular, lifelong diet of phytochemicals plays an important role in health and wellness.
When it comes to fighting cancer, cruciferous vegetables may be the real champs. These plant micronutrients work by speeding up the production of enzymes, especially in the liver. These enzymes help our bodies convert toxic, mutagenic (cancer causing) chemicals into less harmful substances that are naturally flushed out of the body. Studies have consistently shown that cruciferous vegetables substantially lowered the risk of prostate cancer in men. Some studies also suggest a protective role in cervical, uterine and breast cancers in women.
It is important to know which fruits and vegetables contain these important phytochemicals. The National Cancer Institute recognizes the following twelve (12) fruits and vegetables as important for their phytonutrient content: pineapple, papaya, turnips, carrots, tomatoes, cauliflower, cabbage, kale, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, garlic, and onions.
Phytochemicals concentrated or prepared in such a way as to likely have therapeutic effects are generally referred to as “nutraceuticals”. According to one source, twenty heads of cabbage, juiced and dehydrated, will fit into one capsule of cabbage powder.
It is difficult for most adults to eat a consistent variety of all twelve fruits and vegetables on a daily basis. What about your children? Every parent knows how difficult it can be to get children to eat the right foods that support healthy growth. This daily requirement becomes especially difficult when they are younger. Emphasis on making sure they snack on nutritious foods, instead of high calorie sweets and other “junk” foods, are something that should be stressed from a young age.
Remember, phytonutrients are important for you and your family.

Chelation Therapy - Find out the truth about oral chelation therapy!
Chelation therapy is still a great concern for society. Chelation therapy is touted to do many things. Unfortunately, there's a lot of misinformation
out there about chelation therapy. The term chelate, from the Greek chele for claw, refers to the "claw-like" structure of the organic chemical ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), first synthesized in Germany
in the 1930s. Chelation therapy is usually a medical treatment performed in a doctor's office -- typically one who specializes in antiaging medicine. Chelation therapy improves metabolic function and blood flow
through blocked arteries throughout the entire body. This is accomplished by administering an amino acid, ethylene-diamine-tetra-acetic acid (EDTA), by an intravenous infusion using a small 25-gauge needle.
Intravenous Chelation was the most common practice until a few years back. However, with the introduction of oral chelation it became the preferred choice of most patients and doctors. There were a number of contributing
factors to this shift of choice. Probably the biggest factor was the cost factor. Though intravenous chelation would not cost you a fortune, still the cost will be way above the price of Oral Chelation. This initiated
the use of oral chelation among the customers who were using intravenous chelation. Once they started using it on a regular basis, the other benefits of oral chelation became more apparent:
Mercury Chelation
One of the major advantages of Oral chelation is its capability to chelate Mercury from the body. EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetra Acetic acid) injected in intravenous chelation cannot bond
with Mercury. The organic substances used in oral chelation agents do bond successfully with mercury and eliminate them from the body.
Oral Chelation – a painless process
Oral chelation involves nothing but taking 1-2 spoon full of doses of medicine. Most of these are based on some tasty ingredient like honey or jelly and are extremely delicious.
Intravenous chelation involved a painful process with small risk of infection. Additionally, intravenous chelation would often lead to other side effects like pain, fever, fall of blood pressure etc.
Availability
Most of the drugs used for oral chelation are not prescription drugs and are easily available to most people.
Side Effects
Oral Chelation is mostly free from side effects. Problems with using these chelating agents are rare. However, if you encounter any minor problems like headache, fatigue or muscle pain, it is
advisable to increase your water intake and see a physician. 8-10 glasses of water everyday would help the chelation therapy to work more effectively without any of these occasional side effects.
Preventive Benefits
Oral chelation therapy is a safe and convenient method of preventing and curing heavy metal toxicity. The chelating agent supposedly helps in lowering blood cholesterol, prevents blood
clots and reduces heart attacks.
Oral chelation agents can also work as a preventive medicine for people with family history of heart disease, a stressful lifestyle or unhygienic diet. The only situation in which intravenous chelation might score over oral chelation is when the patient has severe conditions. Oral chelation generally takes a few months to work, so if the patient is in immediate need for treatment, intravenous chelation may be a better option than oral chelation. Again, it is advisable to consult with your physician.
